OpenDNS, a US-based company that provides online security and domain name services, has completed a $35m series C funding round that saw investment from network systems company Cisco.
The round featured re-investment from Greylock Partners and Sequoia Capital, which participated in a $4.5m financing round in 2010, and Sutter Hill Ventures, which invested in the company’s $9.3m series B round in February 2013.
Other investors in the series C round include private investment firm Glynn Capital and venture capital firms Evolution Equity, Lumia Capital, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Northgate Capital.
OpenDNS previously raised $2.5m from Minor Ventures in a 2005 series A round.
