US-based prescription drug management platform Oration revealed on Wednesday it raised $11.2m in a 2014 series A round featuring GV, the corporate venturing unit formerly known as Google Ventures.
GV was joined by Andreessen Horowitz, Chicago Ventures, Data Collective, Work-Bench, Arsenal Venture Partners, TiE Angels and unnamed individual investors.
The funding was disclosed as Oration launched OrationRx, a software product that can be utilised by employees to manage their prescriptions and buy the cheapest drugs using their mobile devices.
Oration, which was founded in 2012, previously raised $1m in seed funding in June 2014 from investors including TiE Angels.
