Ordr.In looks for next course on SeedInvest

Ordr.in describes itself as “the world’s only restaurant ecommerce platform, powering ordering solutions for restaurants and publishers of all kinds. For restaurants and publishers, our lightweight ordering tools deploy with the same simplicity of embedding a YouTube video, or use our full-featured API for complete flexibility. You can even sign up restaurants for your app with our turn-key on-boarding system. Ordr.in is ecommerce-as-a-service, from end to end.”

In 2011, Ordr.in’s founders participated in the TechStars NY startup accelerator programme, securing seed capital from Google Ventures on the Demo Day.

On SeedInvest, Ordr.in has managed to raise $65,000 online. However, the majority of its target investment, the total of which amounts to $275,000, was raised offline. This puts the company’s total investment raised on SeedInvest to $340,000, which is only $60,000 short of its target for the round.

The company aims to utilise the capital raised for aggressive global promotion of their API. It also hopes to undertake further research and development of the existing API that includes developing the product suite, looking into competitor’s APIs and API intelligence, enabling a smoother working framework for clients, among other things.

Ordr.in was previously featured on Entrepreneur’s Brilliant 100, Business Insider, Inc., TechCrunch and GigaOM, at Web 2.0 Expo and on untether.tv. Earlier in 2011, the company’s founders were listed on the Silicon Alley 100.
