Packlate switches from consumer to B2B

Genacast Ventures-backed travel company Packlate has reportedly switched to a business to business focus, turning away from consumers.

PackLate has built a hub which connects it to about six property management systems, contracting on a net or commission basis, news provider Tnooz said in February. It is working on the model providing real time bookings to travel agencies in partnership with wholesaler Tourico Holidays,Tnooz added.

PackLate has raised more than $1 million in seed funding from Genacast Ventures,  which is backed by a corporate venturing affiliate of telecoms company Comcast’s Interactive Capital division, as well as venture firms First Round Capital, FirstMark Capital and ETF Venture Funds, Tnooz said.
