Electronics manufacturer Panasonic has launched an accelerator initiative in partnership with Japan-based startup services provider Creww and has begun accepting applications, The Bridge reported on Wednesday.
Panasonic Accelerator 2016 is divided into three categories – home appliances and living, work and advanced technologies – and applications will be taken until July 28, with the accelerator due to begin on September 2.
Participating startups will get access to Panasonic employees, technology and international facilities. The accelerator has not disclosed its investment plans for the companies.
Creww also runs accelerators on behalf of companies including carmaker Toyota, beer brand Asahi, video streaming platform Hulu and fashion brand Marc Jacobs.
