M&A
IndiGG, the India-headquartered operator of an NFT-based play-to-earn platform, has been acquired by Web3 gaming technology and investment startup Kratos Studios through a token swap deal of undisclosed size allowing blockchain game publisher Animoca Brands and crypto consultancy Emfarsis to exit. Both contributed to a $6m round for IndiGG in January 2022.
Roostify, a US-based mortgage lending software developer backed by financial services firms JPMorgan Chase, Santander and USAA, has been purchased by real estate data aggregator CoreLogic for an undisclosed amount. Roostify’s total funding stood at over $65m as of a $32m series C round in early 2021.
Funding
China-based solar photovoltaic energy producer PCG Power has raised RMB500m ($72.7m) from investors including printing and real estate group Jielong Industry Group and Nio Capital, which was formed by carmaker Nio, for the first close of its series A round. Huamei International Investment Group, Eastern Bell Capital, Rockets Capital and Xiaofanzhuo also participated in the round, as did unnamed solar power providers.
