Rubicon Project, a US-based provider of an internet advertising platform backed by strategic investor NBC, has acquired SiteScout, a Seattle-based provider of software security technology.
The $250m General Electric and NBC-run Peacock fund was part of a venture capital syndicate, including Clearstone Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, Peacock Equity, IDG Ventures Asia and Silicon Valley Bank, that previously raised $42m in equity and debt for Rubicon.
