The corporate venturing unit of Jersey-based law firm Pinel Advocates has made its first investments, the company said in a statement on April 27.
The company is looking for strategic partnerships with complimentary businesses that do not compete with the clients of Pinel Advocates.
Andrew Pinel, partner of Pinel Advocates and director of Pinel Venture Capital, Ais: "We are very pleased with the first investments. As announced earlier this year, we have been looking to form strategic investment relationships with businesses with the same or similar client base to Pinel Advocates. Importantly, we are not competing in any way with our clients. We will be able to announce further details of Pinel Venture Capital’s first investments in our next, joint press release with our business partners."
Pinel Venture Capital was launched in March.
