Indonesia-based wealth management platform developer Pluang has received $20m in pre-series B funding from investors including ride hailing service Gojek’s corporate venturing unit, Go-Ventures, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday.
The round was led by venture capital firm Openspace Ventures, an existing investor according to DealStreetAsia, and it follows a $3m series A round led by Go-Ventures in March 2019 that was disclosed six months later.
Formerly known as EmasDigi, Pluang has built a mobile app allowing users to invest in gold, US equity indices and cryptocurrencies, accepting initial commitments as low as $0.50. It plans to now introduce a savings product based on government bonds.
