Pratik Bose joins Indian Angel Network

Pratik Bose (pictured), formerly director for VC and private equity investments, M&A and strategy at Cisco Corporate Development, has joined the Indian Angel Network (IAN), the Economic Times wrote on Friday.

Bose will be IAN’s managing partner in charge of its maiden fund, an early-stage, sector-agnostic vehicle that recently celebrated a first close at Rs1.75bn ($27.2m). The fund has made three investments to date.

Bose had been a director at Cisco for just under ten years, having taken the position in August 2007.

Bose said: “I am excited to be part of the IAN Fund and grow the best in class seed and early-stage investor. This fund is exactly what the ecosystem needs as this will bring a paradigm shift for startups. I look forward to working with Saurabh, Padmaja and the very elite investment committee members as well as the advisory board.”
