US-based Produced Water Absorbents has raised an initial funding round of $11m to expand commercial operations treating produced water, flow-back and hydraulic fracturing water clean-ups.
The financing was led by Energy Ventures, a Norway-based venture investment fund, and included investment bank Harris and Harris Group and a limited partnership comprised of Ohio-based industrialists.
