Adspert, the company founded by Bidmanagement, has raised $1.3m, according to news provider Techcrunch, from the ProFIT finance programme, the early-stage investment arm of Investitionsbank Berlin. Adspert is a web-based Bidmanagement tool for Google AdWords campaigns.
Bidmanagement is backed by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), the investment arm of Germany-based media conglomerate Bertelsmann, who invested a six figure sum in 2011.
Adspert aims to help “optimize and fully automate” Google AdWords accounts so that advertisers can increase the ROI for the campaigns they run. Adspert recently began supporting campaigns run Russian search engine Yandex.
The new funds will be used to further develop technology, specifically, its algorithms.
