Quad helps square $18m funding for Pixability

Pixability, the US-based developer of an advert buying and video marketing platform for YouTube, closed an $18m series C round backed by commercial printing company Quad Graphics yesterday.

Investment firm Jump Capital and growth equity firm Edison Partners co-led the round, which also included venture capital firm Point Judith Capital.

Pixability will use the cash to expand its technology platform, which enables brands to program their video ad buying, as well as its business development, international sales and its range of partnerships.

The round took Pixability’s overall funding to approximately $28m. Quad Graphics and Point Judith also contributed to an $8.1m series B round that closed in June 2014.

Pixability had previously raised funding from Launchpad Venture Capital, Race Point Capital, Maine Angels, eCoast Angel Network, Angel Investor Forum CT, Beacon Angels, Walnut Venture Associates, North Country Angels and Boston Harbor Angels.
