Brazil-based ticketing platform Ingresse has secured R$20m ($6.2m) in a funding from investors including Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of mobile semiconductor producer Qualcomm, Lavca has reported.
The round included e-commerce company MercadoLibre, fund manager Confrapar and investment firm FJ Labs.
Ingresse operates a ticketing mobile app for events such as concerts that is open to third-party event promoters, collecting fees on each ticket sold. It will put the capital towards an acquisition and partnership drive.
The round is the fourth Ingresse has closed and its earlier investors include e.Bricks Ventures and DGF Investimentos, both of which joined Qualcomm for a series B round sized at approximately $4.3m in 2014.
