Zoom Video Communications, a US-based high-definition video conferencing service, has raised an undisclosed amount in its series A round from a consortium including chip maker Qualcomm’s corporate venturing unit.
Alongside Qualcomm Ventures in the A round were angel investors Jerry Yang (Yahoo founder), Subrah Iyar (WebEx founder), and Dan Scheinman (ex-Cisco executive) and Bill Tai, a venture capitalist at Charles River Ventures.
