Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of wireless technology manufacturer Qualcomm, has participated in a $3m series B round for Brazil-based pest management technology developer Strider, AgFunder News has reported.
The round also included venture capital firm Monashees, and comes after Strider received $2m from VC firm Barn Investimentos in late 2014.
Strider has built a big data platform that helps farmers control crop and pest management, and it plans to use the funding to expand in the US and expand its technology.
