Randstad makes another Brazen investment

Human resources firm Randstad has invested in US-based online meeting platform developer Brazen Technologies through its Randstad Innovation Fund.

The corporate did not disclose the size of its investment but Brazen recently secured $770,000 in equity funding alongside $2.4m in debt financing, according to securities filings.

Brazen’s software allows organisations to host chat-focused online meetups and events with customers, employees, students and job candidates. It has more than 150 clients and it represents the fifth investment by Randstad Innovation Fund.

The company has now raised more than $17m in debt and equity financing to date, having received $4m in 2016, $2m of which was a series B equity round featuring venture capital firm Osage Venture Partners.

Randstad Innovation Fund had joined Osage Venture Partners and existing investors Militello Capital and Kegonsa Capital Partners to provide $4.7m in funding for Brazen the previous year.
