Real Capital Analytics receives $115m

Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), an investment vehicle funded by quantitative trading firm Susquehanna International Group, has invested $115m in US-based commercial real estate data provider Real Capital Analytics (RCA).

The investment consists of series B equity funding as well as debt financing, with a portion of the proceeds being used to redeem series A shares issued to a unit of media company Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT).

Founded in 2000, Real Capital has curated a database covering commercial real estate transactions, including developments, property sales and investments. It is utilised by investors, lenders, service providers, brokers and advisers.

The company has not disclosed specifics about any earlier funding rounds, though it did receive an undisclosed amount of series A funding from DMGT in 2007.

Bob White, founder and chief executive of RCA, said: “This investment marks a new stage in our evolution and positions RCA for continued growth well into the future. My team and I are confident that SGE will provide tremendous support, expertise and financial flexibility to RCA.”
