India-based cloud kitchen operator Rebel Foods has expanded its accelerator programme, Rebel Launcher.
Rebel Launcher was formed in 2018 and will help Indian and global brands scale across 1,000 regions in India through a licensing model. It began by helping restaurants but has now covers all food brands.
Rebel Foods signed its first licensing deal with American fast food firm Wendy’s Company in November to develop and operate its cloud kitchens in India. The company raised almost $50m from hedge fund Coatue in April 2020.
