Germany-based electric bicycle sharing service Rebike Mobility has completed a €10m ($11.9m) series B round featuring Vorwerk Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of household product retailer Vorwerk, Tech.eu reported yesterday.
Growth equity provider BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft led the round, which was also backed by STS Ventures, the investment vehicle for entrepreneur Stephan Schubert.
Rebike owns an online marketplace for e-bikes called Rebike.de in addition to e-bike subscription service Ebike-abo, and intends to put the series B funds into expanding the latter offering.
Vorwerk Ventures had previously led a series A round for the company in November 2019 that was in the seven-figure range, investing together with STS Ventures.
