Recurve, a US-based provider of energy efficiency software backed by New York-listed home improvement retailer Lowe’s Companies, has replaced its chief executive (CEO).
Andy Leventhal, previously co-founder and CEO of carbon information measurement company Planet Metrics before its sale to Parametric Technology in February, has replaced Pratap Mukherjee.
Before Planet Metrics, Leventhal worked at software companies EMC, Imperva, Red Hat and VeriSign.
In June, Recurve, formerly known as Sustainable Spaces, raised $8m in its series B round from Lowe’s, as a new investor, and two US-based venture capital firms. RockPort Capital Partners and Shasta Ventures had both previously backed Recurve’s $6m series A round in 2008, four years after its launch.
