Argentina-based software development services provider Redbee has announced a corporate venturing unit called Venturebees that it has equipped with a AR$27m ($630,000) cornerstone investment, iProUp has reported.
Venturebees will target seed and early-stage startups operating in the financial technology, insurance technology, marketing and digital media sectors. It has already identified 39 projects to support, with plans to finalise three of them through proposals by the end of 2019.
The unit will seek to foster collaboration between corporate business partners while entrepreneurs will receive access to a co-working space, legal advice, software and product development support, help with branding and general guidance to assist with growing their businesses.
