Reinventure Group, the corporate venture capital (CVC) unit of Australia’s second-largest bank, Westpac, has led a A$5m ($4m) round for cafe services startup Beat the Q Posse Group, which is being renamed Hey You.
The series A round also included Exto Partners. It is the second investment since late June for Reinventure, which became the first Australian banking venture to invest in a Bitcoin company, Coinbase.
Beat the Q Posse Group is an amalgam of three formerly separate companies, Beat the Q, Posse and eCoffeeCard, which formally became one company in October 2014.
