US-based laundry services provider Rinse has raised approximately $6m in series A funding from backers including CAA Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of talent agency Creative Artists Agency.
Javelin Venture Partners led the round, which also included Arena Ventures, Accelerator Ventures, Expansion VC, Structure Capital, Otter Rock Capital and Base Ventures.
Founded in 2013, Rinse operates an on-demand service incorporating dry cleaning, laundering and pressing, washing and folding, hang drying, repairs and leather cleaning.
The company will use the funding to fortify its operations in Los Angeles and San Francisco while expanding into other markets.
Rinse closed its $3.5m series A round in June 2015 backed by an, ahem, laundry list of investors including Arena Ventures, Accelerator Ventures, Expansion VC, Otter Rock Capital, Structure Capital, FF Venture Capital, Great Oaks Venture Capital, Mesa Ventures, Rothenberg Ventures, Base Ventures and assorted angel investors.
