Business Growth Fund (BGF), the growth equity firm set up by the UK’s five largest banks, has appointed Victoria Robson as a talent network manager.
Robson will operate out of BGF’s Leeds office but will work across the unit’s seven national offices. She has a brief to build its regional network across an area that includes Manchester, Leeds, North East England, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Robson came to BGF from private equity recruitment firm Directorbank, where she worked for 13 years managing its relationships with senior executives and non-executives.
Cate Poulson, head of the BGF Talent Network, said: “Our aim is to develop a broad network of experienced directors with wide ranging skills, in order to drive the growth and development of the businesses that we invest in.
“Our portfolio in the north and in Scotland has been growing at a fantastic pace and we need to invest in the Talent Network to match this investment momentum and in order to offer the best to our portfolio.”
