German sanitary paper manufacturer Wepa Group has promoted Till Rösnick to managing director at its corporate venture capital arm, Wepa Ventures.
Launched in 2020, Wepa Ventures backs and incubates European software-driven material science startups, focusing on green technologies. It also seeks indirect investment opportunities.
The unit has made more than 20 investments including decentralised sanitation system developer Wase, supply chain automation tool provider Sunhat and Cirplus, which runs a B2B circular plastics marketplace.
Rösnick joined Wepa in 2016 as treasury manager, where he helped manage process optimisation projects. He joined Wepa Ventures as investment manager in 2020 shortly after it was formed.
Wepa Ventures’ team features managing directors Andreas Krengel and Carl-Luis Rieger, as well as IT and digital group director Tobias Hundhausen.
