SAP.io, the corporate venturing arm of Germany-based enterprise software producer SAP, has partnered digital consultancy Publicis Sapient to launch an accelerator in Israel.
SAP.io Foundry Tel Aviv accelerator has selected seven early-stage startups that are developing tools to help consumer companies boost customer engagement.
Over the course of the three-month programme, SAP and Publicis Sapient will help the companies develop new services for personalised marketing content, product discovery and social engagement.
Four US-based companies have been selected for the accelerator: e-commerce intelligence platform developer Algopix, data analytics software provider Explorium, video marketing platform creator SundaySky and Jebbit, the developer of an online platform that lets companies capture declared data.
Vue Storefront, a Poland-based provider of front-end e-commerce infrastructure, rounded off the list of participants together with two UK-headquartered startups. Algopix has built an e-commerce intelligence platform while Mention Me has developed a referral marketing platform.
