Setiadharma sets a place at MDI Ventures

MDI Ventures, the corporate venture capital subsidiary of telecommunications company Telkom Indonesia, has hired Arya Setiadharma as a venture partner, DealStreetAsia has reported.

The appointment comes as MDI Ventures is forming an investment partnership with financial services group KB Holding centred on a fund with a $100m target for its close.

The unit recently hired Shannon Lee Chaluangco as an investment director and is still searching for a permanent replacement for CEO Nicko Widjaja, who left earlier this year to helm financial services firm Bank Negara Indonesia’s newly formed VC arm, BNI Ventures.

Setiadharma remains in his position as chief executive of investment firm Prasetia Dwidharma according to his LinkedIn profile, a role he has held since 2008.
