Shea goes FullContact in $25m round

US-based contact management platform developer FullContact raised $25m on Wednesday from investors including Shea Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of housebuilder JF Shea.

The round, which was led by venture capital firm Foundry Group, also featured VC and private equity firm Baird Capital and VC fund Blue Note Ventures.

Founded in 2010, FullContact provides professionals and businesses with a cross-platform suite of apps and software that help them store and organise contact information of individuals and other companies.

The cash will fund the enhancement of FullContact’s platform as well as an expansion drive the company expects to include both strategic acquisitions and the doubling of its workforce in the next year.

FullContact stated in an attendant press release it has now raised a total of $50m. Its last funding consisted of a $10m round closed in March 2015 that was co-led by Foundry Group and Baird Capital and backed by Blue Note Ventures and 500 Startups.

A graduate of Techstars, the company’s earlier investors include High Country Venture, Jove Equity Partners, Bullet Time Ventures, SK Ventures, Zelkova Ventures and angel investors Nancy Pierce and Walter Winshall.
