Electric Cloud, a US-based software delivery company which helps developers automate the product delivery process, has raised $8m in series D funding led by new investor Siemens Venture Capital, the corporate venturing division of Germany-based industrial conglomerate Siemens; all existing investors participated, including venture capital firms US Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, RRE Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners.
Previously, Electric Cloud raised $9m series C funding in January 2007 and $8m series B funding in July 2004.
