China-based healthcare provider SinoUnited Health has closed a (RMB100m) $14.4m series B round that included conglomerate Kuok Group.
Venture capital firm Qiming Venture Partners led the round, which was completed in October 2018, the company said on its WeChat account, investing alongside the founding and medical team of SinoUnited.
Private equity firm Maison Capital also participated in the round, having previously led SinoUnited’s $8.6m series A round in January 2018, according to China Money Network.
Founded in 2016, SinoUnited operates four clinics in the city of Shanghai, providing medical services such as physiotherapy, radiology, paediatrics, surgery and gastroenterology.
The company recently launched a women healthcare centre to provide personalised healthcare services to women. It will use the new funding to hire additional doctors and open more clinics.
