US-based workforce management software producer Skedulo has received $75m in a series C round led by internet and telecommunications group Softbank’s Vision Fund 2.
Founded in Australia in 2013, Skedulo offers cloud-based software used by businesses to manage their deskless employees, which it claims represent 80% of the global workforce. Skedulo’s software tools can be used for tasks such as scheduling, employee engagement and data analysis.
Through its platform, Skedulo has recently been assisting governments with covid-19 testing and vaccination scheduling.
Skedulo will use the series C funding to support international growth and recruitment. The company has raised $115m of funding to date, including a $28m series B round in March 2019 that was led by M12, the corporate venture capital subsidiary of software producer Microsoft, investing alongside VC firms Blackbird and Costanoa Ventures.
Costanoa led a $9.2m series A round for Skedulo in 2016 that also included Blackbird and increased the company’s total funding to $11m.
