China-based online security software developer SkyGuard has raised $24m in series A capital from investors including from cybersecurity software producer 360 Enterprise Security Group, China Money Network reported yesterday.
Venture capital firm China Growth Capital also took part in the round, as did Guotou Chuangye, a VC subsidiary of the Chinese government’s State Development & Investment Corp.

The series A cash will be used to fund research and development activities. SkyGuard maintains R&D centres in the Chinese cities of Beijing and Chengdu, and offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and, in the US, Silicon Valley.
