Smarchive, a Germany-based document filing system, has raised a “seven-figure” investment from a consortium led by T-Venture, the corporate venturing unit of Germany-based phone operator Deutsche Telekom.
The other investors were financial services comparison website Check24 Vergleichsportal and angels, including Birgit Ströbel, co-founder of Germany’s biggest online real estate platforms, Immobilienscout24.
Steffen Reitz, Fabian Stehle and Holger Teske founded Smarchive from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Thomas Kiessling, chief product and innovation officer at Deutsche Telekom, said: “The start-up team from Munich has convinced us with their innovative, technically outstanding software solution, which can ease anyone’s everyday life while also meeting the highest security standards.”
