US-listed messaging platform developer Snap has announced the third batch of 10 startups for its 14-week Yellow accelerator initiative, Adweek has reported.
Yellow was formed in mid-2018 and invests $150,000 in each participant, focusing on developers of online content technology. Snap offers business support, networking opportunities, mentoring from industry professionals and workspace in the US city of Los Angeles to each startup.
The latest cohort includes consumer lifestyle advice provider Brightly, fashion brand Charli Cohen, online blue-collar community operator Hardworkers, black millennial-focused business media platform Mogul Millennial and Nuggetverse, the creator of a virtual character called Tubby Nugget.
Sticker-based chat platform developer Stipop, video clip analysis tool provider Trash, meme-sharing platform Veam, augmented reality game studio Wabisabi Design and SketchAR, the creator of an artificial intelligence-equipped drawing app, completed the list.
The accelerator’s previous group of 10 participants were selected in July 2019, following the first cohort of nine companies the year before.
