IBM, a New York-listed technology company, has agreed to acquire SoftLayer Technologies, a local cloud computing infrastructure provider with an incubator, for an undisclosed amount. Sellers would include private equity firm GI Partners.
In November, SoftLayer expanded its incubator support program into Canada.
SoftLayer’s Catalyst Program provides technology infrastructure and financial support to start-ups.
