Stead was previously part of the evaluation teams at Genome Canada’s Genomic Applications Partnership Programme, which is chaired by Reza Halse, a partner at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital-backed Partners Healthcare.

Stead has also worked for Alberta Innovates – Technology Futures (Tech Futures), an organisation that helps create sustainable businesses in the Canadian province of Alberta.
