Yoyi Media, a China-based provider of online advertising and marketing services, has raised $20m in its series B round a year after closing $12m in its first round from media group Disney’s corporate venturing unit.
Venture capital firm Oak Investment Partners led the B round for Yoyi and was joined by Disney’s Steamboat Ventures and Chinese private equity firm Gobi Partners.
Perry Chui from Steamboat, who joined Yoyi’s board at it’s A round, said: We continue to be enthusiastic about the company’s growth trajectory, management’s execution on stated goals, and the caliber of its team. We support Yoyi’s goal to deliver the most effective and efficient online marketing solution to advertisers [such as Toyota, P&G, Dell, Microsoft, Adidas and Carlsberg]."
