Stratifyd, a US-based customer data analytics software provider backed by internet group Tencent, has extended its series B round to $29m according to a regulatory filing.
The company announced in October 2018 that it had raised $25m for the round, from growth equity firm Georgian Partners and undisclosed existing investors. A regulatory filing the same month indicated it had secured $20m of a targeted $25m from three investors.
Founded in 2015, Stratifyd has developed a software platform that uses artificial intelligence-based technology to turn interactions between businesses and their customers into insights that can improve how it operates.
Customers use the software to automatically analyse data such as surveys, chat logs, phone calls, product reviews, customer feedback and marketing campaigns. The company said in October that the series B funds will be used to bolster its technology and expand globally.
Stratifyd had completed a $7m series A round in July 2017 featuring Tencent, China Growth Capital, NewGen Capital, Social Starts, TEEC Angel Fund and ZhenFund. It had raised $1.3m in 2015 before adding $1.7m the following year, according to additional filings.
