Nine Entertainment has helped Australia-based online shoe retailer StyleTread raise A$12m ($12.5m).
The company was joined in the round by venture firms Starfish Ventures, Lakestar, and Adinvest.
The company was founded in late 2010, and said a "significant investment" from Starfish and increased investment by Nine meant the company was now owned by a majority of Australia-based shareholders.
Nine first backed the company in May last year, with a "small investment".
Nick Peace, from Starfish, joins David Coleman of Nine Entertainment, Manu Gupta of Lakestar and Daniel Jarosch of BrandsExclusive on the company’s board as well as the business’ founders Mark Rowland and Bjorn Behrendt.
Nine is majority owned by buyout firm CVC Capital Partners and it launched its corporate venturing unit Nine Ventures last year.
