Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC), the corporate venturing subsidiary of Germany-based industrial equipment maker Robert Bosch, has appointed Xiaoguang Sun head of venture capital in China.
Sun moved from private equity firm Yellow River Capital, where he had been partner and managing director from 2016 to the start of this year. He had previously spent eight years as a director at chipmaker Intel’s investment arm, Intel Capital.
Ke Zhang (pictured), based at Bosch’s headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, had previously led RBVC’s China strategy, as well as investments in telematics technology developer Abax, internet-of-things technology provider Sensoro and venture capital firm GSR Ventures.
