US-based enterprise software developer Sureline Systems secured $4.5m in a series B round backed by investors including flash storage technology manufacturer Unigen yesterday.
Founded in 2010, Sureline provides cloud migration, and business continuity and disaster recovery software. It will use the funding to expand its channel sales and marketing, as well as its customer service capabilities.
Paul Heng, CEO of Unigen, said: “SureEdge is an innovative software solution to securely, efficiently and transparently move the business critical applications across multiple data centres which may include hybrid cloud, private or public cloud besides enterprise’s own multiple data centre sites.
“This is very synergistic to our view of data centre and cloud appliance and how business critical applications will be deployed, managed and maintained.”
Sureline previously raised $1.75m from undisclosed backers in 2012.
