China-based cloud exchange platform Syscloud Technology has secured RMB150m ($21.7m) in a series A round featuring office equipment supplier Comix Stationery, China Money Network has reported.
The round was led by investment firm Chenhui Venture Partners and included state-backed venture capital firm Capitech and fellow VC firm Fortune Capital, according to local media reports.
Founded in 2012, Syscloud provides cloud exchange and interconnection services for internet companies as well as those in industries such as finance, media and education.
The funding will be used to expand Syscloud’s operations as it seeks to further develop its core product offering and increase the size of its customer service and research and development teams.
