Serge Taborin (pictured) has joined UK-based outsourcing company Capita as chief digital officer after three years leading UK-based insurer Aviva’s global digital innovation function.
At Aviva he had responsibility for identifying emerging opportunities, developing partnerships with the world’s leading startups, VCs and accelerators and driving execution across the group’s markets in Europe, North America and Asia.
Latterly, Taborin said he had spent a year in the US, and had been a non-executive director at its portfolio company Roost, but Ben Luckett has continued to run Aviva Ventures.
Earlier he had co-founded and been CEO for mobile ordering platform Q App Mobile, which was acquired in 2015 by mobile wallet developer Yoyo Wallet, and managing director at Archant Digital Ventures, the investment arm of publisher Archant.
