France-based cybersecurity software publisher Tehtris has raised €20m ($23.6m) from investors including Open CNP, the corporate venture vehicle owned by insurance provider CNP Assurances.
Other investors in the round included private equity house Ace Management, Nouvelle-Aquitaine Co-Investissement fund and angel investors including Ace Management founder Thierry Letailleur.
Tehtris has developed a cybersecurity platform that is able to automatically detect and neutralise cyber-espionage and cyber-sabotage attacks in corporate infrastructure.
The company employs more than 60 experts in France, and CEO Elena Poincet said the new funding will be used to strengthen the company’s technical, sales and marketing teams.
Laurent Oudot, co-founder and chief technical officer of Tehtris, added: “To support our international expansion and to sustain our strong growth, we are announcing the creation of several hundred jobs in the next three years.
“A better resilience of companies will require ubiquitous protections and a holistic vision, in order to always be able to face the unpredictable.”
