China-based internet and mobile entertainment firm Tencent has bought a venture capital firm’s minority stake in local game developer Beijing Gamegoo Information Technology.
Qiming Venture Partners told news provider Sina Tech it had sold the stake to Tencent. Qiming associate Tong Shihao added in the interview: "After becoming an investor, Tencent will help give a boost to the [Gamegoo] games."
Three games, Qixiong Zhengba, Mohuan Dalu and Jiang Hu Xiao will be on Tencent’s platform.
