China-based business management software provider Terminus has received $93m in a series B round featuring e-commerce group Alibaba on Monday, DealStreetAsia reported on Monday.
Private equity firm Warburg Pincus led the round, which included venture capital firm Sequoia Capital China, while Alibaba invested through its cloud computing subsidiary, Alibaba Cloud.
Founded in 2012, Terminus provides enterprises with software for resource and data management. It will use the capital to grow its team and develop its product offerings.
Sequoia Capital China and Alibaba Cloud both took part in the company’s $61.5m series A round in March 2021 alongside technology investment firm Glory Ventures.
Alibaba Cloud also took part in a 2017 pre-series A round for Terminus – the size of which is undisclosed – according to DealStreetAsia.
The company’s earlier investors include consumer appliance manufacturer Haier’s corporate venturing unit, Haier Capital, as well as VC firms Fibonacci VC, Tianjin Capital and Fortune Capital.
