US-based prepared meal delivery service Territory has received $6.7m in series A funding from investors including financial media company The Motley Fool Holdings.
Venture capital firm NRV led the round, which also featured Lewis & Clark Ventures and Upfront Ventures. It follows a $5m seed round in February 2016 that was led by Upfront and backed by The Motley Fool and assorted angel investors.
Founded as Power Supply, Territory delivers freshly prepared nutritious meals to customers who pre-order food to be prepared by the company’s partner chefs. The funding will support an expansion in the company’s meal options and entry into new local markets.
