Testin, a China-based mobile development platform backed by media company International Data Group’s venture capital affiliate IDG Capital Partners, has closed a $30m series C round, China Money Network reported today.
The round was led by an unnamed investor, according to local media reports.
Founded in 2011, Testin operates a cloud-based service that allows mobile app and games developers to test prototypes of their products and evaluate compatibility across devices before launching their product.
The service is primarily targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises and fintech businesses.
IDG Capital Partners previously provided an undisclosed sum for Testin’s series A round in 2011. Testin then secured a total of $54.9m in its series B and series B+ rounds.
IDG Capital Partners and VC firm Banyan Capital first supported the initial series B round, raised between 2014 and 2015, before returning for the series B+ round, which was led by VC firm Hayin Venture Partners in 2015.
