Switzerland-based reinsurance company Swiss Re has revealed the names of the six startups that will comprise the first batch of its India-based InsurTech accelerator, Business Insider India has reported.
The 16-week InsurTech scheme will mentor and curate startups working on technology that can disrupt the insurance industry. Its more specific focuses lie in smart analytics, online systems of engagement and the internet of things.
The six in question are health and fitness tracker developer Goqii, mobile predictive care platform Touchkin, financial risk analysis software startup Datasigns, end-to-end wellness platform eKincare, artificial intelligence-equipped buying assistant Niki.ai and deep learning platform developer Arya.ai.
